I learned almost all I know about roses from a wise and gently teacher, my wife's Dad, Mr. Berry (although he'd rather I call him Jesse). At the house she grew up in he started adding rose bushes around the yard as a hobby. When we got married in that backyard there were well over a hundred rose bushes along the entire perimeter of the property. I attempted to provide the care they needed in his absence, some did alright I'm sure. I know he would have told me 'Denny, don't you worry about that.'. I miss that guy.
